When submitting your online application for either bachelor or master program, you will have to upload colour scanned copy (PDF format) of the following documents:

For bachelor’s degree programmes

  • Curriculum Vitae (Résumé) in English;
  • Motivational Letter(s) in English. See practical guide on how to write winning motivation letter
  • Transcript of records;
  • Upper secondary school certificate achieved after at least 12 years of school attendance. If you have yet to obtain your final qualification, an enrolment or provisional certificate is also accepted.
  • Certificate proving the completion of 1 or 2 years of academic studies, OR a post-secondary qualification, OR a foundation course certificate (ONLY if you apply for a Bachelor’s degree programme and you do not have a minimum 12-year school record);
  • Certificate of entrance examination to access university, if required by law in the Country where you have been awarded your upper secondary school certificate (i.e. Selectividad in Spain, Prova de Aferiçao or Prova Geral de Acesso ao Ensino Superior in Portugal, Vestibular or Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio in Brazil, Gao Kao in China etc.);
  • Valid ID card (ONLY for EU or EU-equated applicants) or passport;
  • Italian Residence permit (ONLY for non-EU applicants residing in Italy);
  • English Language certificate or other language certifications (if required – check entry requirements for each programme);
  • Any other document required (check entry requirements for each programme);

For master’s degree programmes

Sapienza University Bachelor and Master Scholarships

Sapienza is an international, public, highly ranked, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary university, with over 700 years of history. Located in the heart of Rome, Italy.  The application for the bachelor and masters scholarship in Italy is currently ongoing at the university.

A pre-selection application is an online application allowing international students to be assessed well before the official Call for Applications is published. Pre-selection is available for most English-taught Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes not requiring an in-person admission test, and for a limited number of Italian-taught programmes. This application is particularly important for those applying for a study visa to enter Italy.

Most programmes will ask pre-selection applicants to provide:

  • High School and University Diploma
  • Transcript of Records

Requirement for the Bachelor and Master Scholarships in Italy

  • Students applying for a Bachelor’s programme must hold a high school diploma earned after at least 12 years of studies;
  • Students applying for a Master’s programme must hold at least a 3-year Bachelors degree from a recognized university in a relevant discipline;
  • Additionally, all students must have at least an upper-intermediate knowledge of English OR Italian (B2 level), depending on their chosen programme. Some programmes also require students to sit a mandatory admission test (e.g. Medicine and Surgery).

Bocconi University Masters scholarships in Italy

Bocconi University is an Italian private university located in Milan. In the subjects of economics, finance, law, management, political science, public administration, and computer science, Bocconi offers undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate programmes.

Entry requirements 

In order to apply for masters program, you need to:

  • have a three-year degree (i.e. ‘Laurea Triennale’, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts) or higher education (i.e. ‘Laurea Magistrale’, Master of Science, 4-year or 5-year Degree) in economics (Economics, Finance, Finance and Banking, Business or Management…) or non economics quantitative subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science…), received from an Italian or a non-Italian university*;
  • submit your GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) /GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) score or, alternatively, take the Bocconi Test;
  • be strongly motivated.

University of Pisa Bachelor and Master Scholarships in Italy

The University of Pisa allocates every year 24 merit scholarships to international students admitted to one of the fourteen Master Degrees taught in English language , or in the Bachelor’s Degree in Management for Business and Economics , in order to promote the academic offer in English of the University to international students.
