The UBC Okanagan Distinguished Doctoral Scholar Award (DDS) program will ensure UBC Okanagan’s best PhD students are provided with the financial support of at least $20,000 per year plus tuition by the College of Graduate Studies for up to four years of their doctoral studies, in addition to funding provided by their graduate programs. This merit-based scholarship is intended to be a component of a larger funding package that will be used to recruit top scholars who likely have competitive offers from other universities.
