Applications are open to apply for the University of Pecs Hungary Scholarships for the academic year 2022 intake. The Scholarship is open to pursuing Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. Degree Programs. This is a Fully Funded Scholarship and all the expenses will be covered courtesy of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship.
ABOUT THE STIPENDIUM HUNGARICUM PROGRAM
The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme was launched in 2013 by the Hungarian Government as part of the government policy called “Eastern and Southern Opening”. The scholarship program is managed by Tempus Public Foundation. The core mission of the program is to increase the number of foreign students in Hungary and to encourage Hungarian higher education institutions to attract top foreign students. Currently 68 sending partners are engaged in the program.
Every year hundreds of international students gain admission to our university with the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship.
Stipendium Hungary Scholarships are fully funded and available to international students in all fields of study. The University of Pecs Hungary Scholarship for international students is available for all degree levels in a wide range of different majors.
Almost all academic fields and majors are available at the University of Pecs under Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships to study abroad. The scholarship will cover all the expenses. The scholarship duration for Bachelor’s Degree is 4 Years, for a Master’s Degree 2 Years, and 3 Years for Doctoral Degree.

Benefits of University of Pecs Hungary Scholarship
The payment of tuition is exempt from tuition-free education.
A monthly stipend is provided.
Living expenses at the non-degree, bachelor, and master levels are HUF 43 700 for 12 months per year until completion of the study program.
At the doctoral level: 140 000 HUF a month for 12 months a year.
During the scholarship period, you will either live in a dormitory or pay a monthly accommodation contribution of HUF 40 000.
Health insurance: health care services according to relevant laws in Hungary (Act 80/1997 on national health insurance cards, supplementary medical insurance up to HUF 100 000 per year/person).

Eligibility Criteria of University of Pecs Hungary Scholarship:
Interested applicants must fulfill the following Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants from all nationalities (International) except EU/EE are eligible to apply.
Hungary Citizens are not eligible.
Students must hold at least 12-year education for admission in undergraduate or bachelor`s degrees
For Master degree applications applicants must have the undergraduate/bachelor (16 years) degree/transcript or equivalent education for the admission requirement.
Applicants must hold a master and bachelor degree/transcript (total 18 years) or equivalent education for the Ph.D. admission requirements
Students must have outstanding and good academic performance.

How to Apply for the University of Pecs Hungary Scholarship 2022
The applicants have to apply online through the website of Tempus Public Foundation.
You will be given a unique applicant access code after registration.
You need to select the University of Pecs and then the study Programme at the University of Pecs. You can select a maximum of two study programmes.
Do not forget to choose English as your medium of language.
Provide all your personal details including name, email, location, date of birth, religion, and contact number, etc.
Complete all the required fields.
You must submit the application to the website and save it.
After submitting the application on the Tempus foundation website, you need to apply also through the sending partner of your associated country.
You are required to accept the application statement for application in the online system.
Nominated candidates will be contacted by May 30th, 2022.
Selected candidates will be given the letter of admission and letter of award till July 15th, 2022.
